On Monday, May 13, Values & Capitalism hosted 27 students and a professor of political science from Colorado Christian University, for a packed afternoon of lectures by AEI scholars and fellows.

On April 30, Values & Capitalism visited Seattle Pacific University (SPU) for a visit by Edd Noell, chair of the Department of Economics at Westmont College, and co-author of "Economic Growth: Unleashing the Potential of Human Flourishing." Dr. Noell met with an SPU Intermediate Macroeconomics class, where he addressed questions from students.

On April 5, Houghton College hosted Values & Capitalism for an event on free trade and fair trade, featuring AEI resident scholar Claude Barfield.

On March 18-19, 2013, our program manager and a staff member from the Kern Family Foundation visited Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Ga.

On Feburary 21, 2013, Values & Capitalism sponsored a public lecture by Dr. Lawrence Mead, professor of public policy at NYU and a visiting scholar at AEI.

On February 21, 2013, AEI resident scholar Michael Rubin visited Geneva College for a two-day campus visit on the topics of Iran and the Arab Spring. The event was co-hosted by Geneva College's Visiting Artist and Lecture Series.

On February 8, 2013, 22 students from the American Studies Program (ASP) visited with Senior Fellow Karlyn Bowman and Values & Capitalism staff at AEI. ASP is affiliated with the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities and brings students from Christian colleges across the nation to Washington, D.C., to intern and study public policy or global development.

On February 4, 2013, Values & Capitalism program manager Josh Good visited Regent University for a lecture entitled, "America's Entitlement Epidemic and the Moral Case for Free Enterprise." Josh also met with the college dean's office, joined a Principles of Finance class for a guest interview, and led a workshop on DC jobs and internship opportunities.

On January 18-20, 2013, your friends at Values & Capitalism hosted a two-day faculty retreat on the sunny campus of Ave Maria University, just 30 miles from Naples, Fla. Our goals were 1) to provide a platform for leading professors to inform forthcoming resources, such as online modules, classroom supports, and monograph study guides; 2) to cultivate a greater inter-campus "movement"; and 3) to truly retreat, providing fresh content for professors to help sustain them in their upcoming teaching.
